Mr. Joseph Aaron Bates, age 25 of Frenchburg, Kentucky passed away Thursday, May 28, 2009 at the St. Claire Regional Medical Center in Morehead, Kentucky.

He was born November 13, 1983 in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky; son of the late Roger Bates & Judy Phillps Bates.

Joseph was a member of Frenchburg Baptist Church,he rededicated his life to The Lord on Sunday, November 11, 2007.Joe enjoyed singing in Church & at the Edgewood Estate nursing home in Frenchburg, Kentucky. He is survived by one son; Aaron Jacob Bates of Tennessee
1 Aunt; Lois Crouch of Frenchburg, Kentucky and 1 Uncle; Jerry Phillips & Maxine of Frenchburg, Kentucky.

Memorial Services will be conducted 7:00 PM Tuesday, June 2, 2009 at the Frenchburg Baptist Church in Frenchburg, Kentucky with Bro. Mike Butler, Bro. Keith McGuire & Bro. J.D. Trimble officiating. Burial will follow at the Phillips Cemetery in Pomeroyton, Kentucky.
