Mr. Paul Carpenter

Mr. Paul Carpenter, age 82 of Wellington, Kentucky passed away Thursday, February 11, 2010 in the St. Claire Regional Medical Center at Morehead, Kentucky, after a brave battle with cancer.

He was born March 21, 1927 in Morgan County, Kentucky. He was preceded in death by his foster parents, Frank & Margaret Fraley of Morehead, Ky and one brother Ernest Carpenter and one sister,Jean Fields.

He was a member of the Korea Church Of God,Wellington,Ky an was retired from General Motors. He served in the U.S. Navy during W.W.II.

He leaves behind his beloved wife of 51 years, Beryl Hale Carpenter, loving daughter Lois Carnes & son-in-law Mearl Carnes of Dayton, Ohio. Five beloved grandchildren, Amanda Patterson, Jennifer Carnes & Dwayne Jackson all of Dayton, Ohio. Nathan Marth & Kara Carpenter of Eldon, Missouri. One great granddaughter, Haley Patterson and one great grandson, Evan Marth. One foster sister, Evon Stevens, Morehead, Ky.

Paul was loved by everyone he knew.He loved life and always had a smile on his face. He will be truely missed but never forgotten.

Funeral services will be conducted 2:30 pm Saturday, February 13, 2010 at Korea Church of God in Wellington, Kentucky with Rev. David Hale officiating.

Burial will follow in the Big Woods Community Church Cemetery in Wellington, Kentucky.

Visitation after 6:00 pm Friday, at Korea Church of God in Wellington, Kentucky.
