Mr. Rawleigh William "R.W." Murphy, age 60 of Frenchburg, Kentucky passed away Saturday September 8, 2007 .

He was born January 26,1947 in Morgan County, Kentucky; son of the late Hazelrigg Murphy and Bessie Gibson Murphy.

He was a farmer and welder (self-employed).

He was preceded in death by one Brother Woodrow Murphy.

Surviving is his Wife; Judy Pugh Murphy of Frenchburg, Kentucky and Two Sons; Richard Clay & (Joanie) Murphy of Denniston, Kentucky and Jonathan William Murphy of Frenchburg, Kentucky. Three Grandchildren; Kyle Jordan Murphy, Devan Clay Murphy, William Colten Murphy. Three Brothers; Elwood Rollie Short of Montgomery County, Kentucky, Charlie Lee Murphy of Salyersville, Kentucky, Jesse Hazelrigg Murphy of Frenchburg, Kentucky. Host of special nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be 10:00 AM Wednesday September 12, 2007 at Menifee Home For Funerals Chapel with Fred Bishop and Paul Keeton officiating. Burial in the Murphy Family Cemetery in Denniston, Kentucky. Visitation 6:00 PM Tuesday Sept.11, 2007 at Menifee Home For Funerals in Frenchburg, Kentucky.
