Mr. Vernal "Cooch" Ferguson, age 84 of Means, Kentucky passed away Thursday, May 22, 2008 at St. Joseph Hospital on Harrodsburg Road in Lexington, Kentucky,after a brief illness.
He was born April 23, 1924 in Menifee County, Kentucky son of the late Willie & Nannie Fielders Ferguson and was a retired farmer.
In addition to his Parents, he was preceded in death by five Brothers, Wilburn, Joe, Loyd,Virgil & Earnie Ferguson also one sister, Lula Short.
Surviving are two brothers,Cecil Ferguson of Means,Kentucky and Mort Ferguson of Huron,Ohio.
Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 PM Sunday, May 25, 2008 at Menifee Home For Funerals Chapel with Rev. Tommy Evans officiating.Burial will follow with Intertment in the Ferguson Cemetery in Means Kentucky.Visitation will begin 11:00 AM Sunday until time of Services.
Pallbearers: Larry Ferguson,S cotty Ferguson, Travis Ferguson, Gordon Martin, David Martin & Billy Gross.
