Mr. Woodford Rainey Cox

Mr. Woodford Rainey Cox, age 78 of 3900 Pendleton Branch Road,Salt Lick,Ky and formerly of Wellington,Ky passed away Tuesday August 12,2008.

He was born August 21,1929 in Menifee Co.Ky son of the late Omer Smith Cox and Fannie Jane Culberson Cox.

He was preceded in death by three brothers Belford Cox, Charlie Cox, Ewell Cox.

He was a retired school bus driver and a retired farmer.

Surviving is four sons, Kenny & Wanda Cox of Salt Lick,Ky; Todd & Cheryl Cox of Salt Lick,Ky; Ricky & Joyce Cox of Pomeroyton,Ky and Mike Cox of Frenchburg,Ky. Eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Three sisters;Ruby Hicks of Frenchburg,Ky, Mattalee Collinsworth and Elberteen Richardson both of Wellington,Ky.
Two brothers; Ivan Cox of Jeffersonville, Ky, Buster Cox of Wellington,Ky.

Funeral services will be held Thursday 11;AM August 14,2008 at Menifee Home For Funerals with Rev.Terry Wells officiating.

Burial in the Sexton Cemetery,Wellington,Ky.
Visitation 6;pm Wednesday at Menifee Home For Funerals,Frenchburg,Ky.

Pallbearers will be Henry Joe Botts, Omer Clay Richardson, Buddy Richardson, Ralph Collinsworth, Marion Amburgey, Clifford Sexton.
