Mrs. Blanche Gillie Cox, age 91, of Mariba, Kentucky passed away Tuesday, March 27, 2007 at the Edgewood Estates in Frenchburg, Kentucky.

She was born Novemeber 7, 1915 in Menifee County, Kentucky; daughter of the Late Bud Gillie & Dora Peck Gillie

She was a member of Mariba Church of God in Mariba, Kentucky.

She was a retired cook at the Botts Elementary School in Menifee County, Kentucky.

She was preceded in death by her Husband; Wilbur Cox & a Son; Elmer Cox.

She is survived by 1 Daughter; Edna Shipp of La Grange, Kentucky; 1 Son; Billy and Ruth Cox of Ezel, Kentucky and also 6 Grandchildren, 7 Great-Grandchildren and 4 Great-Great-Grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 30, 2007 at Menifee Home for Funerals Chapel with Rev. David Woodward officiating funeral services. Burial will follow with Interment at the Egelston Cemetery on Tarr Ridge Road in Frenchburg, Kentucky. Visitation will begin at 6:00 p.m., Friday at Menifee Home for Funerals.
