Mrs. Ina Mae Brown Burgess

Mrs. Ina Mae Brown Burgess, age 80 of Mariba, Kentucky passed away Sunday, September 14, 2008 at her home.

She was born July 19, 1928 in Menifee County, Kentucky; daughter of the late Leonard Brown Sr. & Nannie Maxine Culbertson Brown.

She was retired grocery store owner and was a member of the Pomeroyton Union Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband; John Burgess, 4 brothers; Rexall Brown, Otis Brown, Willard Brown and Leonard Brown Jr. and 1 infant daughter; Betty Ann Luke.

Surviving is 3 daughters; Linda Rothwell of Winchester, KY, Maxie Crowe of Frenchburg, KY and Diann & Vernon Ringer of Maryville, TN; 1 brother; Vershal & Opal Brown of Frenchburg, KY; also 7 grandchildren & 8 great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be conducted 1:00 pm Thursday, September 18, 2008 at Menifee Home For Funerals Chapel with Rev. Jimmy Daulton and Rev. Delbert Coffey. Interment will follow with burial in the Pomeroyton Cemetery in Pomeroyton, KY.

Visitation will begin after 6:30 pm Wednesday, September 17, 2008 at Menifee Home For Funerals.
