Mrs. Lois Stanga Morlier

Mrs. Lois Stanga Morlier, age 84, of Frenchburg, Kentucky passed away Sunday October 21, 2007 in the Edgewood Estates in Frenchburg, Kentucky after an extended illness.

She was born June 8, 1923 in Independence, Louisiana; daughter of the Late Leslie Stanga & Thelma Elaise Wall Stanga.

She was preceded in death by her Parents; Leslie & Thelma Eloise Wall Stanga and a Brother; Louis Stanga.

Other Facts of Public Interest; Mrs. Lois Stanga Morlier was very proud of her many Accomplishments: She was a member of the Bluff Creek Baptist Church in Bluff Creek, Louisiana and a retired librarian & researcher. Mrs. Morloer other many accomplishments include: -Past Matron of Eastern Star in New Orleans, Louisiana -Past President of the Gentilly Gardens Club in New Orleans, Louisiana -Past President of AARP Chapter in Clinton, Louisiana -Retired Research Librarian at Delgado Community College, New Orleans, Louisiana and Past Sunday School Teacher of Bluff Creek Baptist Church in Bluff Creek in Louisiana and Lakeview Baptist Church in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Surviving is Four Children; George & Sue Morlier on New Orleans, Louisiana, Gerry & Susan Morlier of Overland Park, Kansas, Gary & Regina Morlier of Lexington, Kentucky and Garland & Robin Morlier of Birmingham, Alabama. One Sister; Henritta Nesom of Baton Rouge, Louisiana and Two Brothers; Leslie Stanga Jr. of Clinton, Louisiana and Pete Stanga of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Also their is Nine Grandchildren: Chris Morlier, Philip Morlier, Marcus Morlier, Joel Morlier, Andrea Morlier, Brandi Abney, Ashley Back, Aaron Green & Michael Mahoney. In addition their are also Four Great-Grandchildren; Noah James Williams, Addiston Ella Mahoney, Aidan Douglas Green and Brianna Michele Green.

Funeral Services will be conducted Tuesday 7:00 P.M. October 23, 2007 at the Bethel Baptist Church in Frenchburg, Kentucky. Entombment will be following the Funeral Services & will be conducted in the Lake Lawn Cemetery in Metairie, Louisiana with Rev. J. Richard Randels officiating.

The Family of Mrs. Lois Stanga Morlier will be receiving Friends at 7:00 P.m. Tuesday October 23, 2007 at the Bethel Baptist Church in Frenchburg, Kentucky with Menifee Home For Funerals Entrusted with all Funeral Arrangements.
