Mrs. Opal Hale, age 79 of Kendrick Ridge Road in Frenchburg, Kentucky; Widow of Willie Hale; passed away Saturday, October 13, 2007 at her residence.
She was born April 7, 1928 in Menifee County, Kentucky; daughter of the late Marion Peyton and Maggie Harmon Peyton.
She was preceded in death by her step children; Frances Bush, Alverna McPherson, Paul Hale, Mamis Patrick and one son in law Billy Lawson and Two grandsons Mitchell Welch and Willie Dean Hale.
Surviving is nine children; General & Willa Hale of Liberty, Ky, John & Wanda Hale of Frenchburg, Ky, Deloris Ann & Billy Welch of Wellington, Ky, Elizabeth Lawson, Laura Jean & Dale Back, Charles & Voneda Hale, Joyce & Jeff Green all of Frenchburg, Ky, Willie Dean & Carol Hale of Denniston, Ky, Teresa & Scott McVey of Frenchburg, Ky. Four Step Children; Beryl Carpenter of Wellington, Ky, Lorena Depoyster of Greenville, Ky, Roger Hale of Ohio, Imogene Little of Wellington, Ky. Five sisters, Laura Burton of Xenia, Ohio, Mary Ann Patrick of Hamilton, Ohio, Hazel Hudson of Frenchburg, Ky, Rosie Clifford of Mt. Sterling, Ky, Myrtle Marie Luke of West Liberty, Ky. Three brothers; Delmer Peyton of Pomeroyton, Ky, Willie Peyton and Bruce Peyton both of West Liberty, Ky. Numerous Grandchildren, Great-Grandchildren and Great-Great-Grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday 1:oo PM October 16, 2007 at Menifee Home For Funerals with Rev. David Hale officiating. Burial in the Morrison & Welch Cemetery in Denniston, Ky. Visitation 11:00 AM Tuesday at Menifee Home For Funerals in Frenchburg, KY.
