Nancy Elaine Bishop

Nancy Elaine Bishop, age 63, of Frenchburg, KY, passed away Monday, November 10, 2025, at her home after an extended illness. Born April 6, 1962, in New Orleans, Louisiana, daughter of Van Buren Mayo and Margaret Bandy Mayo. She was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church, Frenchburg, KY. She was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. Preceded in death by her parents, Van Buren Mayo and Margaret Bandy Mayo; her husband, James Bishop; and her daughter, Jessica Bishop.

Surviving are two daughters, Brenda Gilbert of Frenchburg, KY, and Jennifer Bishop Elkins of Huntington, IN. Stepdaughter Savannahmae Christian of Wellington, KY. Six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be at 1:00pm, Thursday, November 13, 2025, at Menifee Home For Funerals with Rev. Tim Rhodes officiating. Burial in the Bishop & DeHaven Cemetery, DeHart, KY. Visitation is at 11:30am Thursday at Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY. Randy Halsey, Funeral Director. Pallbearers will be friends and relatives.
