Olive (Branham) Hurt

Olive Branham Hurt, age 97, of Frenchburg, Kentucky passed away on Monday, November 11, 2019 in the U.K. Medical Center, Lexington,KY after a brief illness. Born in Frenchburg, KY on March 16th.1922 to Johnny Branham and Liva Blevins Branham. She was am member of the Tarr Ridge Union Church. She was preceded in death by her parents Johnny and Liva Blevins Branham, her husband Chalmer Hurt, son, Verlyn Hurt, and four sisters and two brothers.

Surviving is her daughter-in-law, Brenda Carty (J.D.) and three grandchildren Kevin Hurt (Cindy), Kenny Hurt (Amanda) and Casey Hurt (Belinda) all of Frenchburg, KY. Four great-grandsons, Konner Hurt, Caden Hurt, Ethan Hurt, and Logan Hurt. One great-granddaughter Payton Sturgill.

Funeral service will be 1:00pm,Friday, November 15, 2019 at Menifee Home For Funerals with Bro. Alan Ratliff officiating. Burial in Mack Cemetery, Frenchburg, KY. Visitation after 6:00pm,Thursday at Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY. Pallbearers will be grandsons and great-grandsons.
