Ollie James Williams, age 92 of Igo Ridge Road, Wellington, KY departed this life Thursday, April 10, 2025 at his home. He was born January 28, 1933 in Quicksand, KY son of the Rev. Robert Williams and Mattie Carpenter Williams. He was a member of the Korea Church of God and worked for the A. O. Smith Factory. He was a loving husband, father, brother and grandfather.
Surviving is his wife of 68 years Kathleen Bryant Williams who he married November 17, 1956 and his six children; Greg & Darlene Williams, Gary & Dianna Williams, Gayle & Jimmy McCowan, Roger & Lisa Williams, Kimberly & Regan Henson, SFC Scotty & Jackie Williams. Nine grandchildren: April Williams, Ashley Smallwood (Jimmie), A.J.Brumfield, Amanda Williams, Savanna Williams, Christopher Wooton, Mark Nott, Jordan Banks (Wes), Nicholas Henson. Two great-grandchildren Elizabeth Smallwood & Bennette Banks. Three sisters, Fay Frye, Thelma Williams, Marilyn & Jimmy Stone. Two sister-in-law: Aunt Joy Mullins, Aunt Arlene Williams.
He was preceded in death by his parents Rev. Robert Williams & Mattie Carpenter Williams, twin sons Donald & Dale Williams, great-grandson Evan James Smallwood, Maternal grandparents Dora & Leck Carpenter, paternal grandparents Pete & Solie Williams, two sisters Geraldine Williams, Imogene (Wiley) Patrick, three brothers Bill Harold Williams, Arlie Cecil “AC” Williams, Ronnie Williams (Katherin), bro-in-law Bob Frye.
Funeral services will be 1:30pm, Sunday April 13,2025 at Korea Church Of God, Wellington, KY with Rev. David Hale officiating. Burial in the Johnston Cemetery, Wellington, KY.
