Patsy (Sturgill) Fields

Patsy (Sturgill) Fields, age 73, of Jeffersonville, KY, departed this life Friday, June 26, 2026, at her home after an illness. Born in Richmond, VA, on March 6, 1953, to the late Guy Daniel Sturgill and Edith Mae Maggard Sturgill. She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her savior. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister.

Surviving is her husband, Herman James Fields, and five daughters: Wendy Sturgill (Gerald Barnett), Christina Warfield, Rhonda Sletten, Melissa Moore (Gary Dotson), and Glenna Fields. fourteen grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren. four brothers: Randy Sturgill, Kermit Sturgill, Kent Sturgill, Danny Sturgill. Three sisters: Hazel Thomas, Frances Laney, and Deloris Denardo.

Preceded in death by her parents Guy Daniel Sturgill & Edith Mae Maggard Sturgill, brother Johnny Sturgill, and granddaughter Caitlin Warfield.

Funeral services will be held Monday at 1:30pm in the Menifee Home For Funerals Chapel with speaker Melissa Moore with words of comfort to the family and friends. Interment in the Fortune Cemetery, Spencer Road, Mt. Sterling, KY. Visitation, 1:00pm Monday at Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY. Randy Halsey, funeral director.

Pallbearers: Nathan Wilson, Phillip Wilson, Sean Thomas, Lucas Rowe, Jason Sturgull, Johnny Sturgill, and Harold Thomas.
