Reese Mullins,age 85 of Tarr Ridge Rd.,Frenchburg,Ky passed away Saturday February 23,2008 in the Edgewood Estates Nursing Home,Frenchburg,Ky after an extended illness. He was born March 13,1922 in Powell County,Ky the son of the late Ollie Day Mullins.
He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Saviour and was a retired construction worker. He was a veteran of W.W.II serving in the United States Army.
He was preceded in death by one daughter Mary Ann Mullins,One sister Madge Smallwood and four brothers Clarence "Peck" Mullins,Shelby Mullins, Arlie Mullins and Kenny Mullins.
Surviving is his wife of 58 years Hester Jones Mullins of Frenchburg,Ky and Six children Fred & Marla Peoples of Frenchburg,Ky. Glenn & Debbie Mullins of Denniston,Ky, Ronnie & Sharion Mullins of Frenchburg,Ky. Karen "Sis" & Terry Helton of Frenchburg,Ky, Forrest "Bimbo" Mullins of Frenchburg,Ky and Eric Mullins of Frenchburg,Ky.
Seven grandchildren & three great grandchildren.
Four sisters Bettie & Jack Johnson of Frenchburg,Ky. Bonnie & Jimmy Boyd of Stanton,Ky. Kathleen & Ernest Brown of Frenchburg,Ky Reva Mae & Dewey Bates of Peru,Indiana. Two brothers Paul & Jane Ann Mullins of Frencbhurg,Ky and Sherwood & Sue Mullins of Louisville, Ky.
Host of nieces,nephews & friends & neighbors.
Funeral service will be Tuesday 1:PM February 26,2008 at Menifee Home For Funerals with Rev.David Woodward officiating.
Burial in the Egelston Cemetery, Frenchburg,Ky.
Visitation 6:PM Monday at Menifee Home For Funerals,Frenchburg,Ky.
Pallbearers will be Friends & Relatives.
Military graveside services will be conducted by the Morgan County D.A.V.
