Rev. Matt Blanton

Rev. Matt Blanton, age 69, of Wellington, Kentucky; Husband of Phyllis Motley Blanton; passed away Friday April 20,2007 in the Mary Chiles Hospital, Mt.Sterling, Kentucky after an extended illness.

He was born June 11,1937 in Knox County, Kentucky; son of the late James Blanton and Sarah Blanton.

He was a retired minister and was a member of the Big Woods Community Church of Wellington, Kentucky.

He was preceded in death by one Grandson; Noah Mueller.

Survivors besides his wife are three daughters Robin & Craig Doscher of Wellington,Ky. Angel Mueller of Decatur, IN and Andrea Blanton of Wellington, Ky and one son James & Deborah Blanton of Decatur, IN. One brother Jack & Nina Blanton of Frankfort,Ky. Four grandchildren Tabetha Cooper, Lee Sudduth, Kayla Rogers and Kalab Mueller and one great grandchild Reign Sudduth.

Funeral services will be conducted Monday,11:oo AM, April 23,2007 at the Big Woods Community Church, Wellington, Kentucky with Rev.J ess Brewer & Rev. Foy Back Officiating. Burial will follow with Interment in the Ezel Cemetery, Ezel, Kentucky. Visitation 6:00 P.M., Sunday at the Big Woods Community Church, Wellington, Kentucky.
