Rose Mary Bryant, 79, of Raymond, IL., formerly of Sudith, KY, wife of the late William Harold Bryant, passed away Saturday, February 1, 2020 at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield, IL. Rose was born on May 2, 1940 in Sherman, IL to the late Carmino and Lena (Gazza) Polistina. She was retired from the Mission Christian Thrift Shop and was dedicated to her life role as wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. As a devout Catholic, Rose expressed her love and belief in the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior.
Besides her parents, her husband William Harold Bryant, son-in-law Keith Halsey, and seven brothers Frank, Amato, Natalino, Rossi, Robert, Jim, and Rocco Polistina, preceded her in death.
Surviving are one daughter, Carmen Halsey of Raymond, IL., two sons, Raymond and Linda Bryant of Paris, KY, and Marty and Katie Bryant of Mint Hill, NC., Eight grandchildren, and fourteen great-grandchildren along with a host of extended family and friends. Funeral services 1:00pm, Saturday, February 8, 2020 at Menifee Home For Funerals with Father Frank Brawner officiating. Interment will be in Catron Cemetery, Pomeroyton, KY. Visitation 6:00pm, Friday, February 7, 2020 at Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY with Randy Halsey, Funeral Director.
Pallbearers will be her grandchildren, Christopher Todd Bryant, Timothy Ross Bryant, Jacob Glen Bryant, Billy Joe Halsey, Jonathon Mitchell Halsey, Joshua Harold Bryant, Clay Matthew Bryant, and Jaison Yoshimura, and Honorary pallbearer Emily Rose (Bryant) Yoshimura.
