Ruby Craig Haydon, age 96, of Wellington, KY, passed away on Thursday, March 19, 2026, at Menifee Meadows, Frenchburg, KY, after an extended illness. Born on July 4, 1929, in Owingsville, KY, daughter of the late Herbert Craig and Fannie Ellen Crouch Craig. She accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as her Savior. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and sister. She worked as a housekeeper for the Veterans Hospital in Marion, Indiana.
Surviving are daughter Ann Coats; two sons, Kelly Thomas (Janet) and Dave Thomas; eleven grandchildren; and twenty-two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents Herbert and Fannie Ellen Crouch Craig, husband Nicholas J. Haydon, four grandchildren, four sisters, and four brothers.
Funeral services will be at 12:30pm, Monday, March 23, 2026, at Menifee Home For Funerals, with Minister Jimmy Daulton sharing a message of comfort with the family. Interment in the Crown Hill Cemetery, Sharpsburg, KY. Visitation: 11:30am Monday at Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY. Randy Halsey, funeral director. Pallbearers are family and friends.
