Ruby E (Hale) Perkins

Ruby Ethel Hale Perkins, of Ft. Myers, FL, and formerly of Menifee Co. KY departed this life Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Gulf Coast Medical Center, Fort Myers, FL. Born December 3, 1941, in Wellington, KY, daughter of Orville and Ada Welch Hale. She works as a realtor in Fort Myers, Florida, and is of the Church of God faith.

Surviving are two daughters, Patty & Gary Hutzelman of Louisville, KY, and Carla & Werner Bernau of Hamilton, OH. Two grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and four great-great-grandchildren. Judy Holt of Russell Spring, KY; Vernal & Marie Hale of Middletown, OH; and Donald Hale of Trenton, OH, are siblings. Host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Orville and Ada Welch Hale; son, Gregory Dale Elswick; grandson, Colton Augusta Hutzelman; and two brothers, Asa Hale and Glendal Hale.

Funeral services will be held at 1 pm on Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Menifee Home For Funerals, with Pastor David Hale offering words of comfort to the family. Interment in the Morrison & Welch Cemetery, Denniston, KY. Visitation: 11:30 am Wednesday, April 8, 2026, at Menifee Home for Funerals, Frenchburg, KY. Friends and family are the pallbearers.  Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY.
