Shannon Ray Hughes

Shannon Ray Hughes, age 56, of Betty Gap Ridge,Denniston,KY, departed this life on Sunday October 25,2020 in the U.K.Hospital,Lexington,KY from a brief illness. He was born May 17,1964 in Mt. Sterling, KY to Cletis and Carol Botts Hughes. He was a retired X-ray technician.He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his savior.

Surviving are his mother Carol Botts Hughes and his son, Tyler Hughes both of Denniston,KY. Host of nieces and nephews and one great niece. He was preceded in death by his father Cletis Hughes and sister Shawnna Pinson.

Funeral services will be 1:00pm,Wednesday,October 28,2020 at Menifee Home For Funerals with Pastor Rick Back and Pastor Damon Byrd officiating. Interment in the Mort Botts Cemetery, Denniston, KY. Visitation will be 11:am,Wednesday at Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY with Randy Halsey, Funeral Director. Pallbearers: Ricky Crain, Jimmy Dean Trimble, Travis Blevins, Phillip Pinson, Clyde Sparkman, Brian Johnson.

COVID-19 regulations will be followed as set forth by Governor Beshear and the CDC. The family request that visitors respect their desire to keep everyone safe by practicing social distancing guidelines and to wear a face covering of some sort.
