Sharon Smith Lawson

Sharon Smith Lawson, 70, of Frenchburg, KY passed away Tuesday, November 5, 2024 at her home after a brief illness. She was born February 4,1954 in Frenchburg, KY a daughter of Silas and Cora Askins Smith. Sharon was a loving wife, mother, sister and grandmother and enjoyed sharing her home with family and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents Silas and Cora Askins Smith, six brothers, James, Ezra, Larry, Zane, Laurys and Roger.

Surviving is her loving husband Larry Lawson, Frenchburg ,KY. Three daughters Melanie & Cliff Baker of Irvine, KY, Melissa Lawson & Philip Wilson of Jeffersonville, KY, Brandie Lawson of Frenchburg, KY. Four grandchildren Olivia Ballard, Reese Johnson, Tyler Baker, and Caleb Baker. Two nieces Shelia Barnett and Jennifer Wells. One sister Rita & Ronnie Branam f Lexington, KY.

Graveside services will be 1:00pm, Saturday, November 9, 2024 in the Smith Cemetery, Tarr Ridge Rd, Frenchburg, KY with Pam Davis officiating. Active pallbearers are Caleb Baker, Tyler Baker, Cliff Baker, Timothy Smith, Reese Johnson and Philip Wilson. Honorary pallbearers are Adam Barnett, Jeff Smith and Ronnie Branam.
