Shelia Louise Simpson

Shelia Louise Simpson, age 63, of Frenchburg, made heaven her eternal home on Wednesday, January 3, 2024. Sheila was born July 22, 1960, to Roger and Christine Stamper Simpson of Wellington, KY. Shelia was a life-long caregiver who loved Jesus and her family above anything else.

Shelia is survived by her parents, Roger and Christine Simpson: five sisters, Shannon (Bill) O’Hair of Mariba, KY, Sandy (Mike) Childers of Winchester, KY, Shanell (Mike) Martin of Moorefield, KY, Anita Adams (Johnny) of Morehead, KY, Pamela Simpson of Salt Lick, KY; brothers, Darrell (the late Melissa) Simpson of Graham, KY, Darren (Donna) Simpson and Davey (Sabrina) Simpson all of Wellington, KY. Shelia was also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great nephews who loved her very much, and will miss her dearly.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 PM, Friday, January 5,2024, at the Menifee Home for Funerals with Pastor Wayne Myers officiating, burial following at the Back Cemetery, Wellington, KY. Visitation will be held from 11:30AM to 1:PM, Friday, January 5,2024 at Menifee Home for Funerals, Frenchburg, KY. Randy Halsey, Funeral Director.

Pallbearers will be Darrell Simpson, Tyler Kline, Mike Martin, Keith O’Hair, Chase O’Hair, and Kevin O'Hair. Honorary pallbearers will be the Frenchburg Baptist Church Congregation, and the wonderful families Shelia stayed with for many years. A special thank you to the staff and caregivers from Edgewood Estates and Saint Joseph, Mount Sterling. The family is grateful for the care and compassion Shelia received from both facilities.
