Stanley Simon Nolan, age 87, of Frenchburg, KY, passed away Sunday, January 11, 2026, in the Menifee Meadows Nursing Home, Frenchburg, KY, after a brief illness. He was born November 4, 1938, in Stanton, KY, son of Nesbit and Ethel Neil Nolan. He retired as a truck driver and had served in the United States Marine Corps. Surviving are his three daughters, Susan Wells (Anthony) of Frenchburg, KY; Tammie Carty (Vester) of Means, KY; and Paula Parks (Ben Ritchie) of Mt. Sterling, KY. Four grandchildren: Derrick Carty, Darren Carty, Camillya Carty, and Johnna Brown. Four great-grandchildren: Jaylyn Brown, Kyah Sturgill, Raylynn O'Hair, and Lakyn Carty. Five step grandchildren: Cameron Wells, Tony Wells, Alex Alsept, Dewayne Carty, and Scott Carty.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Nesbit and Ethel Neil Nolan; his wife, Anna Hurt Nolan; and two sisters, Minnie and Maggie Nolan.
Funeral services will be at 1:00pm on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at Menifee Home For Funerals, with Bro. Tommy Evans officiating. Interment in the Mack Cemetery, Frenchburg, KY (with military graveside honors conducted by Morgan Co. DAV Chapter # 132). Visitation, 11:30am Thursday at Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY, Randy Halsey, Funeral Director.
