Stephen Becraft,57,of Dog Trot Road,Frenchburg,Kentucky,passed away Sunday,September 27,2015 at his residence due to a brief illness.He
worked pipeline construction as the foreman.He was born April 28,1958 in Frenchburg,Kentucky son of the late,William Curtis Becraft and Marie Gross Becraft.Also one sister,Vanlisa Becraft preceded him in death.
He was a member of the Fagan Pentecostal Church.

Surviving is his wife,Myra Rawlins Becraft of Frenchburg,Ky.His step-mother, Kathy Becraft of Frenchburg,Ky.Four children,Shannon Becraft Merkel (Shane) of Owingsville,Ky. Laura Becraft Ferguson of Mt.Sterling,Ky. Billie Peyton Clemons (Mark) of Frenchburg,Ky.Myra Peyton Sword(Josh) of Frenchburg,Ky. Nine grandchildren; Mason Merkel,Luke Ferguson, Jude Gibson, Mark Allen Clemons, Will Clemons,Zach Clemons, Peyton Clemons, Jayden Cohelia,Gabe Sword.
One brother; Anthony Becraft of Jeffersonville,Ky. Six sisters,
Sue & Leonard Wilson of Jeffersonville, Ky, Linda Haddix of Means,Ky
Barbara & Raymond Frederick of Cynthiana, Ky. Jane & Wayne Mullins of Means,Ky. Nena & Jon Netcher of Scott Depot,W.Va. Carrie & Ravi Jani of Means, Ky. A host of nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be 1:PM Thursday,October 1,2015 at Menifee Home For Funerals,with Pastor Andy Roach officiating. Interment in Fagan Cemetery,Frenchburg,Ky. Visitation 6:pm,Wednesday at Menifee Home For Funerals,Frenchburg,Ky,Randy Halsey,Funeral Director.
