Talmadge McPherson

Talmadge McPherson, age 57, of Wellington, KY, departed this life Monday, January 12, 2026, at his residence surrounded by his loving family. He was born November 16, 1968, in Frenchburg, KY, son of Martin McPherson and Christene Hurt McPherson. He was a farmer and a loving husband, father, son, and brother. He was preceded in death by his father, Martin McPherson, and his siblings Sandra McPherson, Wilma Crouch, and Joseph and Morgan McPherson.

Surviving are his wife, Dottie Richardson McPherson; his mother, Christene Hurt McPherson; his daughter, Tammy McPherson; and his son, Talmadge McPherson Jr., all of Wellington, KY. Four sisters: Judy Brooks (Glen) of Frenchburg, KY; Bernice McPherson of Goshen, IN; Freda Patrick of Jeffersonville, KY; and Barbara Groves of Denniston, KY. Six brothers: C.B. McPherson of Florida; Michael McPherson (Margaret), Mitchell McPherson (Karen), and Dwight McPherson (Teresa), all of Frenchburg, KY; Argus McPherson (Kathy); and Wade McPherson, all of Wellington, KY.

Funeral services will be at 1:00 pm on Friday, January 16, 2026, at Menifee Home For Funerals, with Bro. Lonnie Meeks officiating. Interment in the McPherson Cemetery, Wellington, KY. Visitation, 11:00am Friday at Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY. Randy Halsey, Funeral Director.
