Thomas 'Tommy' Wade Whitaker

Thomas ‘Tommy’ Wade Whitaker, age 72 of Means, KY passed away Sunday, January 12, 2025 in the Life Care Center, Morehead, KY after an extended illness. He was born September 5,1952 in Garrett, KY, son of the late Glenn Whitaker and Annie Ree Philyaw Whitaker. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his savior.

Surviving is his siblings, Jannie Dial of Greensburg, KY, James Whitaker and Jeffery Whitaker of Campbellsville, KY and Larry Whitaker of Lebanon, TN. His special aunt and caregiver for many years Demetrius Philyaw, Means, KY.

Funeral services will be held 1:00:pm, Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Menifee Home for Funerals with Pastor Jess Dennis and Pastor Gary Conner officiating, Burial in the Mack Cemetery, McCausey Ridge Rd.,Frenchburg, KY. Visitation, 11:00 am Wednesday, January 15, 2025 at Menifee home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY. Randy Halsey, Funeral Director.
