Vada Brown, 90, of Frenchburg, KY, entered into rest on Friday, April 10,2020 at her home after an extended illness. Born March 23, 1930 in Frenchburg,KY, to Reuben and Stella McGlothen Steele. She attended the Emmanuel Baptist Church,Mt. Sterling,KY,and retired from the Extension Office, Frenchburg,KY. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Elmo ‘Bo’Brown, one sister and three brothers.

Surviving is her daughter, Stella Ann & Boyd Ferrell of Marianna, FL., three grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, and two great-great grandchildren. Four sisters, Ruby Miller and Peggy Burns both of Columbus,Ohio. Loretta Cantrell of Mill Creek,WV. Connie Helmandollar of Georgia.

Due to COVID-19 requirements set forth by Governor Beshear and the CDC. Private family burial will be held Tuesday, April 14,2020 at Mack Cemetery, Frenchburg, KY, with Bro. James Fultz officiating. Pallbearers will be friends and relatives. Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY, with Randy Halsey Funeral Director are in care of funeral arrangements of Vada Brown.
