Verne Spratt

Verne Spratt, age 87 of Frenchburg, KY, husband of Ida Mae Spratt; passed away Friday, December 1, 2006 at the Paul B. Hall Medical Center in Paintsville, KY.

He was born April 30, 1919 in Logan Co., West Virginia; son the late Lee Spratt & Hattie Yost Spratt.

Verne was a coal miner and attended Bethel Baptist Church in Frenchburg, KY. He was also a U.S. Navy Veteran.

He is survived by his Wife; Ida Mae Mounts Spratt, married 66 years, of Frenchburg, KY; 1 Sister & Brother-in-Law; Clara Maxine & Manuel Gomez of Miami, Florida; 1 Brother; Lee Spratt Hr. of Pittsburg, Texas; 2 Nephews; Daniel Gomez & Preston Britt; 3 Cousins; Roy Spratt, Audrey Warner and Delores Berryman.

Funeral Service conducted 11:00 AM Thursday, December 5, 2006 at Menifee Home For Funerals Chapel with Rev. David Hale officiating. Burial will follow with Interment at the Up & Down Cemetery, Frenchburg, KY.

Pallbearers will be Friends and Family.
