Wanda Mullins Cheek, a longtime resident of Kentucky and Virginia, passed peacefully on November 18th. Born in Middletown, Ohio, on June 28th, 1939. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Cheek; parents, Roy and Dora Mullins; sister, Lela Conley; brothers, Benny Mullins, Foy Mullins, and Everett Mullins; and son, Jimmy Logdon.
Left to cherish her memories are her children, Lenvil Holland (Jill), Becky Wilson (John), and Michael Mullins. Brother George Mullins; sisters Wilma Watts and Devonna Puckett; and grandchildren Travis (April), Christy, Stevie (Justin), Scott (Monica), and Alex. Patricia Crockett and Christina Gonzalez Great-grandchildren Bryce, Kayla, Izaiah, Jaxson, Hudson, Hayden, Paisley, Layla, AJ, Isaac, Emmanuel, Kristina, Derrick, and Trevor A special thanks to the Riverside Hospice nurses, especially Debbie, Ashley, and Jennifer, for their loving care and patience.
A graveside service will be held at the Mullins Family Cemetery, KY 36, in Frenchburg, Kentucky, at 1:00pm on Wednesday, November 26th, 2025. Menifee Home for Funerals, Frenchburg, KY. Randy Halsey, Funeral Director, in charge of graveside services.
