William Clayton Brown,89 of Wellington,Ky passed away Monday January 10,2011 in the St.Claire Medical Center,Morehead,Ky after an extended illness.

He was born December 29,1921 in Wolfe Co,Ky son of the late Dorsey Brown & Mary Culbertson Brown.

He was a member of the Pomeroyton Union Church,Pomeroyton,Ky and a retired farmer.
He was preceded in death by his wife,Maldra Handy Brown,two sisters, Alma Taylor & Maureen Fugate and a daughter-in-law,Sandra Kay Brown.

Surviving are five children, William Malcum & Linda Brown,Mt.Sterling,Ky. Clayton Wade Brown, Salyersville,Ky; Bradley & Debbie Brown, Wellington,Ky; Jean & Gene Holland, Salt Lick,Ky, Connie & Larry Peck, Wellington,Ky.

Three sisters, Ethel Gibbs, Pikeville,Ky; Ruby Davis, Hazel Green,Ky; Wanda Wells,. Mt.Sterling,Ky.
9 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren.

Funeral service 11;AM,Thursday January 13,2011 at Menifee Home For Funerals with Pastor Terry Wells officiating.

Burial in the Catron Cemetery, Pomeroyton,Ky.

Visitation 6;Pm,Wednesday at Menifee Home For Funerals,Frenchburg,Ky.

Pallbearers will be friends & relatives.
