William E. Rose, age 80, of Frenchburg,KY passed away Sunday, April 25,2021 in the St. Joseph Hospital, Mt. Sterling, KY after an extended illness. Born May 6,1940 in Frenchburg,KY to Earl Rose and Icy Becraft Rose. He was a member of the Slate Creek Pentecostal Church, Means, KY and a retired factory worker at Hobart’s.
Surviving are his wife Marcella Crouch Rose and son, Ricky Dale Rose of Frenchburg,KY. Daughters, Kimberly Long (Anthony) and Darla Slone both of Lexington,KY. Two step daughters; Norma Terrell (Greg) of Olympia,KY and Charlotte Farris (Allen) of Mt. Sterling,KY. Three grandchildren and five step grandchildren. Brother, Paul Rose of Mt. Sterling,KY. He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Icy Becraft Rose and two brothers, Kenneth Rose and Donnie Rose.
Funeral services will be 1:00pm,Wednesday,April 28,2021 at Menifee Home For Funerals with Bro. Larry E. Williams Jr officiating. Burial in Williams Cemetery, Frenchburg, KY. Visitation 11:30am, Wednesday at Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY with Randy Halsey, Funeral Director.
Pallbearers, Anthony Long, Aaron Long, Noah Rodman, Glen Becraft, John Rose and Wesley Becraft.
