William "Bill" Klaber, age 91, of Frenchburg, Kentucky passed away on Thursday, December 19, 2019 in the UK Medical Center, Lexington, Kentucky. He was born December 29, 1927 in Marbia, Kentucky, son of the late Jacob Klaber and Katie Kenny Klaber. He was a US army veteran. He accepted the Lord Jesus Christ as his Savior and was an asphalt plant supervisor.
Surviving is his wife, Imogene Hankins Klaber of Frenchburg, KY., One daughter, Diane ( Joe) Scrogham of Simpsonville, KY. Two sons, Larry (Valerie) Klaber of Nicholasville,KY, and John (Lisa) Klaber of Crestwood,KY. Six grandchildren, Aaron, Anson, Joseph, Jonlyn, Haley, and Kaitlyn. One great-grandchild, Wyatt Klaber.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by, his wife Ruth Klaber, seven sisters, Leola, Ethel, Bethel, Agusta, Marrietta, Della, and Una. Two brothers, Clyde and Ray “Doc”.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00pm, Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Menifee Home For Funerals with Rev. David Hale and Rev. Keith McGuire officiating. Burial in the Egelston Cemetery, Frencbhurg, Kentucky. Visitation will be 6:00pm, Friday at Menifee Home For Funerals, Frenchburg, KY, with Randy Halsey, Funeral Director. Pallbearers will be Joseph Scrogham III, Aaron Klaber, Anson Klaber, Wyatt Klaber, Zach Lambert, Curt Williams, and Tony Wynn.
